Overview of this job family structure and mission

The Communications job family is divided into five (5) areas of expertise. All of these areas of expertise report to the VP of Corporate Communications. These areas/functions are:

  • Internal Communications
  • Segment Communications
    (SMB, Enterprise, Consumer and Wholesales/Carrier Services)
  • Financial Communications
  • Media Relations
  • Public Affairs

Most of the communications jobs are at the management level and often exist across the organization. A large majority of these functions are located in Montréal or Toronto.

Mission

The Corporate Communications group is responsible for planning and coordinating the communications efforts and activities across Bell in order to enhance our ability to communicate as one company.

The group brings together the Internal Communications, Media Relations, Public Affairs, Financial Communications and Segment Communications functions to drive the communications process around Bell's "Making it simple" brand promise.
