Central Office Maintenance Managers
This is a great position to evolve leadership skills and gain expertise in the areas of people management, Bell's diverse network, health and safety requirements, and the safeguarding of our network infrastructure.

Bell's Operations department will have a centralized Workforce Management Team by the end of 2005. The primary mandate of the GEO (Gestion des Effectifs Optimisée), or optimized workforce management) team will be to forecast volumes and hours, create and manage work schedules based on these forecasts, and ensure short-term balance and adjustments based on actual volumes for more than 7,000 employees. The operational teams affected will be Voice Installation and Repair, Cable, Data, Mega, Internetworking, Direct Sales, Management Centres, Repair Call Centres, Activation Centres, Test Centres and Central Offices in Québec and Ontario.

This will result in a greater demand for the position of Manager – Workforce Management, or related fields.
