Top responsibilities
The position of Project Manager - Bell Professional Services is responsible for the structuring and delivery of moderate to complex solutions across Bell's account base, on time, within budget and according to customer requirements. The Project Manager will work with the account teams in the pre-sales stage, developing and structuring solutions and developing detailed project management plans consistent with the proposed sales package. Project management plans will include project charter and plans, do-ability analysis, the development of the business case and the implementation agreement. This job function is also accountable for managing post-sales project implementation, identifying and mitigating project risks (financial and operational), delivering the projects on time, within capital and expense budgets and delighting the customers. It requires some business acumen. Detailed responsibilities include:
- Creating and managing virtual pre-sales and post-sales project teams
- Leading do-ability analyses and business case activities, including implementation agreements for funding as required (capital and expense funds)
- Through partner teams, identifying internal and external products/services required to deliver solutions
- Negotiating partnership arrangements (external) and special enhancements to service to meet requirements
- Assisting account teams in proposing a winning solution or bid
- Providing project-specific direction and advice to distribution channels and service management
- Developing project charters and plans
- Financial tracking - tracking-related capital and project expenses (Cost Of Goods Sold)
- Scheduling, developing, tracking and delivering on-time, following ISO9001 procedures, and using tools and documentation

Qualifications
Critical qualifications/competencies
The successful candidate should have:
- Two to five years of working experience
- Experience in technology solutions development and project management
- A college certificate or university degree in engineering, computer science or a related discipline
- Membership in PMI or an other professional body and be actively progressing toward PMP certification or equivalent business experience
- Data communications, Broadband or Internet Protocol background
- Understanding of revenue and cost management
- Negotiation skills
- The ability as a team player to manage multidisciplinary teams and multiple projects
