Top responsibilities:
Through the medium of inbound calls and some outbound calls (mainly on a queue), the Sales Associate is responsible for achieving an identified annual revenue target and identifying client needs. He/she also develops and maintains sales with prospective clients and current clients by providing information on Bell products and services based on contacts established within an assigned market base (provincial coverage), to the overall satisfaction of the clients.
The Sales Associate offers all Bell products and services, with a specific focus on hardware-related products
He/She is also responsible for probing non-hardware opportunities and referring leads to other appropriate sales colleagues.
Sales territory:
He/she receives inbound calls, sends e-mails, and may place outbound calls from/to clients based on Bell Market Queue.
Key objectives
The Sales Associate achieves assigned revenue targets by developing new client business within an assigned market:
- From an assigned Bell Queue, he/she responds to inbound calls, and probes and educates client contacts with the intent to sell Bell products and services
- He/she achieves assigned revenue targets by promoting Bell products and services to inbound callers
- The Sales Associate prepares standard written proposals/contracts, ensures the validity of content and pricing, and attempts to secure agreement and follow-ups with outbound calls
- He/she selects and bundles products in order to build a solution to meet each client's needs
- When required, the Sales Associate confers with and pulls various technical experts and partners internally to assemble the identified solution
Interaction
Contact is established primarily through telephone discussions using the medium of inbound calls (via the Bell queue). The Sales Associate:
- Responds to inbound calls from individuals within client and potential client organizations
- Ensures the transition to the implementation team and client team to secure client satisfaction
- Has contact with Bell Alliance Partners in the case of client concerns
- Refers customers to sales colleagues
- Closely works with BAM Sales Associates for a common client, as well as other sales colleagues
- Provides ongoing feedback on market competitive intelligence
